Green Raspberry Smoothie

I love this berry smoothie because it’s filling and tasty.  The best thing about smoothies are that they don’t have to be fancy. You can be flexible in what you put in them, depending what you have in your fridge.

They make it so easy to get a whole load of fertility nutrients in one easy hit. The raspberries are packed full of antioxidants which will benefit both of you, whilst the spinach will give you a good amount of folate which is absolutely crucial for when you’re trying to get pregnant.

Teeming with other micro-nutrients and goodness it can be a great brekkie when you need to eat on the run or a substantial snack when you’re too busy to stop to eat properly.

1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 medium banana
handful of baby spinach
1 tbsp maca powder
1 scoop of protein powder
250ml water

Simply blend all ingredients using extra water to reach a thickness you’re happy with.
